PADELFORD AWARDED CCIM DESIGNATION
IN CHICAGO
CHICAGO (October, 2008)Rick Padelford, CCIM, REALTOR® with Realty Executives South East Valley Office, specializing in land, industrial and office properties, was awarded the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation by the CCIM Institute, one of the leading commercial real estate associations in the world. The designation was awarded October 16, 2008 during examinations held in Chicago.
Padelford was among the 382 commercial real estate professionals who earned the designation by passing the Institute’s Comprehensive Examination, the final element in the designation process. He is also the current President of the Realtor’s Land Institute, Arizona Chapter, and has been on the Board of Directors for the organization since 1998. When asked what the designation means to his business, Rick explains, “With increasingly complex transactions and all of the intricacies involved from initial feasibility analysis through acquisition, it’s critical to stay on the leading edge of commercial real estate.”
The CCIM designation is awarded to commercial real estate professionals upon successful completion of a graduate-level education curriculum and presentation of a portfolio of qualifying industry experience. The curriculum addresses: financial analysis, market analysis, user decision analysis and investment analysis – the cornerstones of commercial investment real estate. CCIMs are recognized experts in commercial real estate brokerage, leasing, asset management, valuation, and investment analysis.
