Paradise Valley home sale exceeds $1K per square foot

A record was set in Paradise Valley with the $6.4 million sale of a Mummy Mountain home by Sandra Wilken Luxury Properties.
The record was in terms of price per square foot, with the nearly 6,200- square-foot home selling for more than $1,000 per square foot.
The home is located in the guard-gated community of La Place Du Sommet, and according to Sandra Wilken's Web site, sits on a 2.5-acre lot.
"This was an exciting home to sell, especially since I sold it before it even went on the market," said Sandra Wilken, owner of Sandra Wilken Luxury Properties. "Just when people think the market is slowing, I am here to say that with all the high-end growth coming to the Valley, we will continue to see these kinds of numbers."
The home, which entertains both mountain and city views, includes a huge master suite, a private two-bedroom guest wing, a state-of-the-art home theater with custom seating and a wine cellar.
